The Little Crown of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Introductory Prayer

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created,
    and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray

O, God, who has instructed the hearts of your faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may have a right judgment in all things and evermore rejoice in his consolations.  Through Christ Our Lord.  Amen.

Grant that we may praise you, Gracious Virgin!
    give us strength against your enemies.

A.  Crown of Excellence

1.  Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with Thee; Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

You are indeed blessed, Virgin Mary, for you carried in your womb the creator of the universe.
    you gave birth to the one who made you, while ever remaining a virgin.

Rejoice, O Virgin Mary!
    rejoice a thousand times!

2.  Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with Thee; Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

Virgin holy and immaculate, no tongue can praise you worthily,
    for you bore within you the God whom the very heavens cannot enclose.

Rejoice, O Virgin Mary!
    rejoice a thousand times!

3.  Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with Thee; Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

You are all beautiful, O Mary,
    and free from every stain of sin.

Rejoice, O Virgin Mary!
    rejoice a thousand times!

4.  Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with Thee; Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

The gifts bestowed on you, Virgin Mary,
    outnumber the stars of heaven.

Rejoice, O Virgin Mary!

    rejoice a thousand times!  Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.  As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be; world without end.  Amen.

Treasury of all God’s graces, we praise you.
    grant us a share in your heavenly gifts.

Mediatrix between God and man, we praise you.
    through your prayer may the Almighty be favorable to us.

Victor over heresies and all that is evil, we praise you.
    guide us lovingly in the ways of truth.

Mother of orphans, we praise you.
    make us beloved children of our Father.

Joy of those who serve the Lord, we praise you.
    lead us with you to the happiness of heaven.

Advocate ever near us in life and in death, we praise you.
    lead us with you to the kingdom of God.

Concluding Prayer

All:  Hail Mary, Daughter of God the Father, Mother of God the Son, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, Temple of the Blessed Trinity.

Hail Mary, our Lady, our wealth, our joy, Queen of our hearts, our Mother and our life, our consolation, our dearest hope, our very heart and soul.

We are all yours, all that we possess is yours, Virgin blessed above all.

May your soul be in us to glorify God; may your spirit be in us to rejoice in God.

Virgin most faithful, set your seal upon our hearts, so that in you and through you we may be found faithful to God.

Grant, gracious Mother, that we may be numbered among those whom you love and instruct, whom you guide, cherish and protect as your children.

O Queen of heaven, we renounced from this moment anything in us that does not belong to you.

O daughter of the King of kings, whose principal glory is within, do not allow us to be distracted by things that are visible and transitory; grant rather that through God’s abundant grace, we may always be intent on the Life within us, where we may find in GOD ALONE our delight, our wealth, our honor, our glory, our rest.]

Thus, through your loving care, the Holy Spirit, your faithful Souse, will perfectly form in our hearts Jesus Christ your beloved Son for the greater glory of God our Father, forever and ever!  Amen.
