1. Prayer to Saint Anthony

Good Saint Anthony, in God’s providence you have secured for his people many marvelous favors. You have been especially celebrated for your goodness to the poor and the hungry, for finding employment for those seeking it, for your special care of those who travel, and for keeping safe from harm all who must be away from home.

You are widely known also, good Saint Anthony, for securing peace in the family, for your delicate mercy in finding lost things, for safe delivery of messages and for your concern for women in childbirth.

In honoring you, Saint Anthony, for the many graces our Lord grants through your favor, we trustfully and confidently ask your aid in our present need.

Pray for us, Saint Anthony.
that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray

May it be a source of joy to your Church, O God, that we honor the memory of your confessor and doctor, Saint Anthony. May his spiritual help always make us strong, and by his assistance, may we enjoy an eternal reward. This we ask through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen

2. Prayer to Saint Anthony

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love of God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore of you to obtain for me (make your request).

The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary, full of grace; the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

3. Prayer to Saint Anthony

Faithful St. Anthony who stands at the throne of God echoing our petitions, be a sign for me of remembrance.

For loved ones who have gone before us.

For family, friends and associates who need God’s gift of courage and strength in time of trial.

For all who stand in need of prayer.

Help me be a sign of God’s goodness and love on earth. Help me ring comfort, blessing and the holy presence of God to all I meet each day.

Help me persevere in Faith, Hope and Charity. Amen.

4. Devotion Prayer to Blessed Saint Anthony

Patron saint of things lost, help me to find the strength, faith and courage to overcome my fears and let God’s healing grace fill my heart.

Help me to find again the love of the Infant Jesus in the joys and pain of my daily life, knowing that there is nothing that His love cannot help me to overcome. Amen.

Loving Gather, all powerful and compassionate, listen to our prayers. Through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, Mother of Christ, of blessed Anthony, and of all the saints may we be freed of all our sins, and from all ills of body, mind, and spirit. In the name of Jesus, your Son, we ask these graces. Amen.

2nd Day

Glorious St. Anthony, by God's favor you have healed many and restored them to health. Trusting in your intercession we ask your prayers for all who suffer in body, mind, and spirit. May Christ, the divine physician, grant our request through your prayers.

Glorious St. Anthony, your awareness of the real presence of our Lord in the Holy Eucharist was profound. Please assist us, then, to realize God's presence not only in nature, but in our fellow men, and especially increase our awareness of the presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Amen.

13th Day

Glorious St. Anthony, you were made perfect in a short space and died while still young. Through your prayers may we grow in grace, and experience your protection when finally God summons us. In the name of Jesus, we beg this grace. Amen.
