You are Noah’s ark,
our salvation in the deluge of sin. You are the rainbow of peace, our
reconciliation with God. You are the dove that brings us the olive branch of
peace. As a token of your maternal love, you gave the Catholic world through
your son, Dominic, the Most Holy Rosary.
Through this devotion,
pagans were converted, heretics brought back to the true fold, enemies of the
Church vanquished, and Christian societies reformed. Queen of the Most holy
rosary, we call on you for assistance. Deliver now your Christian people from
the snares of the devil. Great was your love for the Philippines for when the
enemies of the Catholic religion threatened to take away her faith, you saved
the nation miraculously through the battles of “La Naval” and thus secured for
yourself the tile, “Queen and Mother of the Philippines”.
Look down with mercy

and return to the unity of the Catholic truth. Illumine the nation’s rulers and
the rulers of all nations, that under your divine guidance, they may govern the
world as worthy representatives of God. Inspire us all to study our religion,

Holy Rosary, Mother of the Philippines!
As a young girl, you
accepted generously the invitation of the angel, Gabriel, to be the Mother of
Christ. You were prompt in your reply, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it
done to me according to Your word.” Having given your consent, God became man
and started the work of our redemption. “The Word was made flesh and dwelt
among us.”
Take us under your
tutelage, assist us in the imitation of your virtues; help us to be prompt and
generous in our response to God’s inspiration. Teach us to be unselfish in the
service of Christ, Your Son, to forgive without counting the cost, to fight
without counting the wounds, to work without seeking rest, to spend my life

you carried the Savior in your womb and brought him to the hills of Judea, where
He began His redemptive work with the sanctification of John the Baptist and his
mother, Elizabeth.
Help us to live with
